Derived from a Czech word with no direct translation—simply capturing the essence of "a cozy den or space"—Pelíšky emerges as a soothing antidote to the rapid pace of central Kuala Lumpur. Tucked onto the mezzanine floor of The Robertson and neighboring the local creative retail enclave of GMBB in Bukit Bintang, this space seamlessly merges the qualities of a peaceful refuge, a neighborhood "sip & chill" hangout, and a co-working-friendly hub.

Behind its approachable warmth is an eclectic team: a trio of F&B and hospitality veterans, a former corporate art director turned freelance digital nomad, and a head barista who moonlights across the city's DJ circuit—making the space an authentic reflection of the vibrant, multifaceted minds who envisioned and inhabit it

A Creative Haven for Kuala Lumpur’s Urban Collectives

Built by the community, for the community, Pelíšky has quickly blossomed into a vibrant home for a diverse spectrum of local collectives since opening its doors in February 2026. The cafe effortlessly plays host to casual chess clubs, lively stand-up comedy nights, curated guest DJ sessions, lighthearted matchmaking gatherings, Harry Potter trivia showdowns, weekend crochet circles, and insightful climate change discussions.

By stripping away rigid social boundaries, Pelíšky offers an inclusive and welcoming environment where every individual feels at home, making room for genuine conversation and spontaneous creative exchange.

Reinterpreting Regional Heritage Through Modern Beverages

The spirit of exploration extends directly behind the counter with an imaginative beverage lineup inspired by beloved Malaysian flavor profiles and regional comfort classics. Alongside top-tier specialty coffee and traditional ceremonial matcha, the menu celebrates local nostalgia with creative touches like Cendol Tarik and Matcha Gula Merah Pandan.

Crowd-favorite signatures include the indulgent Apam Balik, the rich and creamy Salt Foam Vietnamese, the floral-noted Iced Earl Grey Latte, a crisp Orange Espresso Tonic, and the dreamy, fragrant Bandung Dream.

An Essential Stop in the Heart of the City

Whether you are looking to escape the bustling urban grid, catch up on focused remote work, or plug into Kuala Lumpur’s independent creative scene, Pelíšky stands as an essential stop in Bukit Bintang. Conveniently nestled at Unit M-6, Mezzanine Floor, The Robertson (No. 2, Jalan Robertson), the cafe welcomes guests Tuesday through Thursday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday from 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM, and Saturday through Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM (closed on Mondays).

With hours occasionally shifting to accommodate vibrant community happenings, visitors are encouraged to keep an eye on their updates for the latest gathering announcements.
